Service Description
The organization supports newcomer and vulnerable youth in adapting to their new environment and achieving their full potential. Youth workers provide comprehensive guidance, including cultural orientation, social integration support, and practical assistance in navigating community resources. Services include: -Cultural Orientation & Life Skills: Helping youth understand local norms, school systems, and social expectations. -Social Integration: Facilitating participation in community activities, peer groups, and mentorship programs to foster belonging and connection. -Family Support & Resource Navigation: Assisting families in accessing housing, healthcare, educational programs, and social services. -Academic and Career Guidance: Providing support with school challenges, academic planning, and exploration of future career pathways. -Referral to Specialized Services: When needed, connecting participants to licensed psychologists, social workers, or other professional supports. -Through these programs, youth gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive academically, socially, and personally in their new environment.
